The Magic Of The Season -- Where To Find It

Each year at Christmas the lights sparkle brightly in Schroon, as folks celebrate the season, from downtown Main Street to high up on Charley Hill Road. And each year the Chamber of Commerce sponsors a contest -- with some terrific prizes -- to reward home owners and businesses who out do themselves getting into the spirit of the season.

The results are in for 2012, and we encourage you to check out all of the winners, making your own "Festival Of Lights" driving tour. Here are are the winners and where to find them:

FINALLY, THE WHITE STUFF IS ON IT'S WAY!

The snow is about to arive, and with any luck, if your are a skier, snowmobiler, snow-shoer or simply love Schroon, Adirondack, Chester and Paradox lake covered in snow, 15 inches could be on the ground by Friday. Here are the Headlines from the National Weather Service:
