An Open Mic That Beats to A Different Drum

Vincent Cangelosi loves rock and roll. And he also loves Schroon Lake. So he recently decided to bring his passion to  to his favorite watering hole, The  Timberwolf Pub in downtown Schroon Lake.

It's an Open Mic with a twist.

"We have a drum kit set up, and guitars and amps already to go for folks to play on,” Vincent told Schroon Laker.

“We do encourage folks to bring their own instruments and give everyone a chance to play.”

“Our first couple have been huge successes, so Helen (The Timberwolf owner) was happy to do another”. 

And that’s happening this Saturday night (December 29), from 8pm ‘til 12am. The pub will offer drink specials through out the night.

It's Official: Schroon Is Now A Winter Wonderland

Finally, Schroon and our surrounding towns are a certified "Winter Wonderland" Amen. It's good news for the snow-shoers, snowmobilers, skiers and just about everyone who loves the white stuff -- not to mention one certain event in February which will need much more of Mother Nature's help. Happy 5th Birthday to Witherbee’s Carriage House

It’s hard to believe, but it's been five years since Bill and Patty Christian took over Terrios, now known as Witherbee's Carriage House. A huge congrats to them both and a big shout out to Amanda and all of the staff that make this place so special!

So why not help them celebrate tonight by going to Witherbee’s Open Mic Night.
