Forget Spring! Where's Summer?

Thanks to a gentle nudging from one of our biggest fans -- and horse racing legend JoAnne M. Piterniak --  we proudly roll out our annual Countdown to Summer Clock, on this grey, overcast Schroon Lake day. What are your summer plans this year? Are you doing something new and different, or the same old same old? Tell us in comments what the perfect Adirondack Summer is for you!

Sir, you rock! Summer plans include boating, campfires, hikes, lazy days reading on the porch...all this in 90 days if not sooner!

"The Official Start to Summer" will be back again this year with Opening Weekend festivities over Memorial Weekend and the Blessing of the Boats over Father's Day weekend. Stay tuned for more details! (we're already looking for Expo in the Park participants; vendors, non-profits, businesses, artists, community groups, etc.)

Hiking, kayaking, chilling with my hubby, brother & sister-in-law, hanging out with SL friends, maybe a little dancing in a SL establishment, fireworks, parades, eating out, shopping, attending the beautiful little St. Joseph's church in Olmstedville, and more!
