O’Schroon Lake St. Paddy’s Day Round Up

May the luck of the Irish be with you as you celebrate St Paddy’s Day. For those who crave the traditional good eats of this day, there’s plenty o’ Corned Beef and Cabbage – and other goodies – for all.

O'Schroon Lake’s festivities kick off this afternoon at Schroon Lake Central School. The Junior class will be have their annual Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner tonight at the cafeteria starting at 5 pm. Dinner $8, or $25 for a family.

There’s a round-up of area restaurants and what they are cooking up for Saturday after the jump:

Mr. P's Mountain Smoke House. Chef Shelby is offering up homemade gluten free Shepherd's Pie, with beef and lamb. Available Saturday only, so if ya want one, hurry up.

Pitkins Restaurant. Corned Beef and Cabbage with potatoes and carrots. Complimentary Shamrock Cup Cake. All day $11.95.

Timberwolf Pub. Corned Beef and Cabbage, potatoes and carrots and a dessert. $7.95 All day. Live music Saturday evening. Guinness on Tap.

Flanagan’s Pub and Grill. Corned Beef and Cabbage, potatoes and carrots and bread sticks. $8.95 Lunch. Larger dinner portion $10.95 which includes a salad. Irish Coffee, Guinness and Smithwicks beer specials.

Witherbee's Carriage House. Traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner with all the trimmings for $12.95. Guinness Specials and for those who want it: Green beer!

Paradox General Store and Cafe. Reuben sandwich special for $5.99.
