Experience Witherbee's Open Mic Night Anytime

For regular readers, you know we are huge fans of Witherbee’s Open Mic nights. And over the last few months their following has been growing faster than a Jimmy Hendrix guitar riff. In fact last Thursday night, in the dead of winter, they had their best turn out ever.  And while Open Mic is best consumed with a cold adult beverage, and one of Witherbee’s awesome steaks, you can now enjoy the music from this terrific event anytime you want.

Open Mic impresario Mark Piper, one talented singer and songwriter himself, has launched Witherbee’s Open Mic Channel on YouTube.

For Mark, getting the channel up and running was a labor of love. “I’ve always wanted to do this, but couldn’t quite figure out how to do the video,” Mark told us recently.

“Then I was talking with a musician who told me about a recording device that makes it easy to edit in Apple’s iTunes. Once I got the hang of it, it was easy.”

And it’s not just great music you will hear on the Witherbee’s YouTube Channel. A lot of musicians talk about the life experiences that either inspire or become parts of their songs.

All of your favorites are here: Mark, Barry Gregson, Linda Fayte, Tom Brady, Steph Surheh, Larry Blackhurst, Dave Insull, Suzanne Schindel, Liz Welch, and Bill Campbell, to name a few.

Open Nic Night. Every Thursday 6.30pm Witherbee's Carriage House.581  US Route 9, Schroon Lake. 518 532 9595
