As a longtime summer resident of Schroon Lake for the past 56 years, I am always so happy to hear about any new place opening up in the area.
Your new coal oven restaurant sounds really wonderful and I was excited to hear that you intend to have a beautiful bar and oven as the focal point of your new restaurant.
I also agree that the staff at Drakes was wonderful and Alex Gillman who was the bartender there, had a great following and would certainly be a real asset to your place...on the nights he was working the place was always packed!
