Mystery Boat On Schroon

Calling all Schroon sleuths. Schroon Laker Julie Sawyers has spotted a boat on the lake twice in recent days, trolling for something.
Writes Julie:
"It's hard to see, but does anyone know what this boat is and what they are trolling for? There is a float on each side of the boat, lots of fishing poles sticking up. I have seen it two days in a row now. This Whitney Bay on Schroon Lake.
The first time it was yesterday around 5pm and it was headed north. Today was around 7:30 am and it was headed south. It looked like there were two people on board. The weird thing about it was the float on each side, held in place at least 10-20 feet out on each side of the boat. Of course all dimensions may be way off because of my perspective."

They are trolling for salmon. Best spots are near stresm inlets and at the mouth of the Schroon River. The salmon are chasing spawning smelt running upstream.
