Frigid Cold Warning For Tonight

The National Weather Service has issued an alert for severe cold weather across the Northern Adirondacks
A MUCH COLDER AIR MASS CONTINUES TO OVERSPREAD THE NORTH COUNTRY
FOLLOWING PASSAGE OF AN ARCTIC FRONT EARLIER TODAY. APPARENT
TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM 10 TO 20 BELOW ACROSS THE NORTHERN
ADIRONDACKS...ST. LAWRENCE VALLEY...AND NORTHEAST KINGDOM...AND
GENERALLY 5 TO 15 BELOW ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE NORTH COUNTRY
TONIGHT. APPARENT TEMPERATURE IS HOW IT FEELS ON EXPOSED SKIN WITH
OR WITHOUT WIND. WINDS WILL BE NORTH AT 5 TO 10 MPH THIS
EVENING...THEN GENERALLY LESS THAN 5 MPH AFTER MIDNIGHT.

Now would maybe be a good time to put up that "countdown to summer ticker" that you had up last winter, along with a summertime photo of Schroon...just a thought. Brr....
