From the shoot out on Main Street, to the rodeo, to one bizarre moment featuring a chariot race, the home video of one family’s trip captures what it was like at this long shuttered Western Theme Park.
Frontier Town is a featured display this summer at the Schroon North Hudson Historical Society.
You'll see mementos from the park, books featuring personal letters, newspaper clippings and photos from the park’s hey days.
It’s worth your while to sit down and spend some time with this collection. The helpful staff are happy to see visitors and can answer most of your questions.
