Jammed, Packed Weekend

It’s another jammed, packed weekend in your favorite lake town, so get crackin’

Tonight

The Upstate New Yorker’s bring their combo 1950 and 60s style of rock to the upstairs bar at Witherbee’s Carriage House.

7 pm – 11 pm Witherbee’s Carriage House, 518-532-9595. 581 U.S. State Route 9 

Giddy Up Cowboy (and girls!)  at Word of Life Family Fun night and Rodeo. The action begins at 7 pm at the WOL Ranch with a family fair -- moon bounce, petting zoo and snack bar -- with the rodeo at 8 pm.

Saturday

At 11 am check out the Thompson Twins at the Boat House, where you will be seeing – and hearing double – when sisters Chris and Meredith take ceneter stage for what promises to be a an extraordinary show.

Check out Mark Piper, an amazing local talent, who'll be at the Town Park this afternoon. If you've seen him play the open mic at Witherbee's on Thursdays, you know that Mark is all about the music. He'll be next to the Band Shell -- every Saturday afternoon -- through the end of the summer.

Slow and graceful moves…that’s what belly dancer Natalie will be showing off at a workshop at True North Yoga.This class teaches the grace and fluidity of Belly Dancing in a series of easy moves, which Natalie will show you how to use to make your own beautiful sequence of Bellydance movements.  $15.
