The barbecue chicken is cookin', Loose Connections are blasting out the tunes, and folks are nabbing prime spots for today's parade. The above shot was taken at 10.30 am. Schroon Lake is buzzing with anticipation for the big show. Where will you be watching the big parade today?

The fireworks show in Schroon Lake has never disappointed and this year was no exception. Smiles all around us tonight--a fabulous tradition delivered once again. A big "Thank you" to our kind neighbors on the parade route who allowed us to park on their grass when I found myself without a stroller to bring. Otherwise, we might not have stayed for the parade and would have missed meeting new friends as well the festivities altogether. Did I mention meeting new friends? Always fun.
