Beware of Schroon Lake Crocodiles…

From a distance, those floating logs we spotted Monday in the Lake sure looked like crocodiles. But instead of their bite, it’s their bump that should be a worry for boaters and jet skiers. Those floaters are just some of the detritus we came across, along with pieces of floating docks and branches of all shapes and sizes, washed from shore and up river by the recent round of weekend rain. A quick reconnaissance revealed most of the debris was confined to the northern half of the Lake. Have you come across anything interesting on the Lake in your travels? Tell us in comments.
