EAST CENTRAL FRANKLIN COUNTY IN NORTHERN NEW YORK...

This Afternoon: Occasional showers and thunderstorms. Some storms could be severe, with large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain. High near 76. South wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tonight: Occasional showers and thunderstorms before midnight, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between midnight and 2am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Some storms could be severe, with large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain. Low around 61. South wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorm.
