The Wells House, one of our favorite local haunts in nearby Pottersville, has closed. The current owners shuttered the historic bed and breakfast with two restaurants in April for Spring cleaning, but never re-opened.

We're gonna miss the Moose Cafe, which served up killer ribs. An insider tells us that unless a buyer can be found, the place may not re-open. Some lucky staffers have found jobs elsewhere.  Want to be the new owners of this historic landmark? Find out how after the jump.

The Wells House can be yours for $595,500. From the listing:

CLASSIC ADIRONDACK INN, PUB & RESTAURANT! The Wells House features 10 furnished rooms each w/private bath. Owners apartment. Once Upon A Moose Cafe. 2 separate dining rooms. Equipped commercial kitchen. Quaint lobby. Wraparound porch. Just off the Adirondack Northway, 20 minutes to Gore Mountain and minutes to Schroon, Loon and Brant Lakes
